I’M GOING TO SPEAK ABOUT EASTER TIME. It is also known as “Holy Week” in this country. It is celebrated every year by the catholic religion on April, in all the countries where this religion is. It is one week long.

Main contents (1) Historical/religious or other significance
This festival is celebrated since that religion came to our country. It celebrates the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is very important to all the followers of this cult.

Main contents (2) Preparations; customs; activities
For this festival, people prepare a procession sometimes, known as the “Viacrusis” where people represents when Christ was forced to carry a very big cross and then was executed. In that week, people stop eating meat for three days (only fish). _

Main contents (3) Personal celebrations
In Easter, my family and I go to the church every day. And we stop eating meat too. We are very loyal to this tradition. On the last day of Easter time people prepare an important celebration in the church.

Conclusion: Commercial significance Personal views about festival
Well, in that week people don’t go to their job; they spend that time traveling, so they have to buy useful things for that trip. I think that Easter is a time of reflection, where everybody tries to figure out how to be a better person with themselves and with the rest of the world.
